Carver Trails, a 501c3 non-profit, is dedicated to creating a safe and enjoyable natural surface trail experience at two multi-use trail systems in the Chaska area: Hawks Ridge and Mammoth. The all-volunteer members of Carver Trails built Hawks Ridge and provides seasonal maintenance at both trail locations, along with snow packing at Mammoth for fat bike riding in the winter.
Hawks Ridge trail is close to schools which serves the local families/youth users including mountain bike teams. It is easily accessible by paved bike paths minimizing
the risk of interaction with vehicles and providing a safe place to learn and practice mountain bike riding skills. One can walk, run, bike, ski or snowshoe on these trails. Only Class 1 E-Bikes are allowed.
Carver Trails works with the cities of Chaska and Chanhassen, along with Carver County and MNDOT.
We love our community, so feel free to use the trails (weather permitting).
